Football fever hit Centrale Shopping Centre when Crystal Palace footballers looked for Croydon’s King of the Kick-Ups.
Aaron Martin and Aaron Wilbraham from Crystal Palce, alongside ex-England goal keeper Nicky Johns, set out to find the borough’s kick-up king to promote the new ‘Get to know Cancer’ pop-up shop.
The lucky winner received a signed football and a signed, framed shirt, while participants and onlookers had the chance to get the players autographs.
Sony Mistou, centre manager said: “It was fantastic to have local talent in the centre in aid of such a great initiative. We are honoured to host the first ever ‘Get to know cancer’ shop and strongly encourage shoppers to visit the store as it is filled with great information and advice for everyone.”
The shop will be situated in Centrale until November 1, and will be hosting numerous events enabling shoppers to learn more about cancer, share stories and to ask questions.
