There will be temporary changes to the 455 route in South Croydon next week.

Southern Gas will begin utility replacement works on Croham Road, on October 22. The work which is expected to last until November 16, will cause delays to local bus services.

In order to minimise delays the number of buses on the 455 route will increase at peak times.

The route will be diverted from Croham Road towards Old Lodge Lane. Buses will be diverted from St Peter's Road via Aberdeen Road, South End and Warham Road, before turning to its normal line of route.

Buses travelling towards Wallington Station are unaffected and remain on their published route.

Temporary traffic lights will also be in operation on Selsdon and Drovers Road's.

It is expected this will cause some delays on other routes such as the 64, 403, 409, 412, 455, T33 and N64. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
