Croydon councillor completes his walk for charity
4:30pm Tuesday 16th October 2012 in News
Steve O'Connell walked from City Hall to Beddinton Park for charity.
Steve O’Connell was wearing his Crystal Palace colours with pride as he completed his walk for charity last weekend.
The assembly member for Croydon and Sutton power walked from City Hall to Beddington Park, in aid of the Riverside Animal Centre.
He said: "I struggled manfully through Streatham and Norbury in my Palace colours, eliciting the odd Eagles chant on the way."
“I am pleased that the money all those good people pledged will buy lots of food for vulnerable animals at the centre. I love them.”
