More than a hundred residents had their blood pressures checked by doctors and nurses at Croydon Central Library last weekend.

The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Croydon East, was in support of Rotary International’s Stroke Awareness Day.

Members of the public who had high blood pressure were encouraged to consult with their doctor as soon as possible.
