Free electric blanket safety testing in Thornton Heath

The testing session will be at Age UK Croydon
Free electric blanket safety testing will take place in Thornton Heath this week.
Organised by Croydon Council’s trading department, the tests will check the blankets’ fabric, heating elements, switches, wiring and plus, ensure all are in good condition and present no danger when in use.
A home collection and delivery service will be available for borough residents who may have difficult in attending. They should call 020 8407 1311 before the day of the event.
The testing session will take place between 9.30am and 4.30pm on October 25 at Age UK Croydon, Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath.
