A new farmers' market has launched in Cheam Village.

The first market took place at the Parochial Rooms on the Broadway, from 10am to 3pm, on Sunday, April 2.

Traders at the event included Nut Knowle Farm Cheeses, No.98 Jams, and So Chocolicious.

The market was organised by Neil Berry, of Cheam design consultancy, Juice.

The market hasn't been and gone as the article states. It launches on Sunday 22nd April from 10am to 3pm. The intention is to run the market every 4th Sunday of the month.

i was in cheam yesterday and signs outside the parochial rooms said the market was on every friday (with the exception of the one on sunday the 22nd). confusing! and i just found this:

which also says it's on fridays...don't see how that would make sense, tho. less business as most people are at work. ah well, we shall see!

p.s. ah! my husband just told me there are two different markets. again, we shall see :)
