Another great prize has been announced as the search for Epsom's best businesses enters its final weeks.

The Royal Bank of Scotland, a major sponsor of Epsom and Ewell Business Awards 2012, has announced that all the winners will be invited to a superb dinner at its exclusive Drummonds Bank restaurant in London.

Other prizes include a year’s membership to the Surrey Chambers of Commerce for all winners and £1,000 worth of advertising on Radio Jackie.

With entries closing on September 30, more than 50 businesses have so far entered the awards which are now in their second year.

There are 11 categories to choose from: best for commitment to the community, best business personality, best business for training and development, best employer, best green business, best independent or small business, best new business, best restaurant or pub, best retail outlet, best website or use of social media, and best young entrepreneur.

And all entrants can claim discounted advertising rates in the Epsom Guardian.

A spokesman for last year’s best overall business winner, Jelly Bugs Ltd, said: "Our staff and franchisees have felt appreciated for the work and effort they have put in which has kept morale high and is invaluable.

"Winning has helped promote customer loyalty and will undoubtedly help grow our business."

Sara Olsen, awards coordinator, said: "Epsom and Ewell and the surrounding areas have an exciting, vibrant business community and these awards are all about highlighting the excellent work being carried out in our local community.

"We are once again receiving a steady stream of entries, if you have something to shout about in business we would like to hear about it."
