A special needs school opened its new nurture suite yesterday.
MP for Carshalton and Wallington Tom Brake was at the Wandle Valley School on Monday (July 22) to open the new suite which features sensory games and a sandpit to help development.
The academy caters for youngsters aged five to 16 with behaviour, emotional and social difficulties (BESD).
Tim Fahy, Bursar at the school, said: "Mr Brake was great, he got involved with the kids straight away.
"Although we did have a problem with the virtual bike, for the first time since we have had it, it didn't work."
