There could be extra festive cheer for two girls this year after their Christmas stamp designs were shortlisted for a Royal Mail competition.
Natacha Simpson, 10, who attends Sheringdale Primary School, Southfields, was named as a regional winner in the Christmas Stamp Design Competition.
The youngster's design shows two robins kissing on a letterbox under mistletoe.
Natascha's entry will now go through to the next stage of the competition, with judges selecting the top two designs from the region to go through to the final.
Also shortlisted was a seven-year-old who attends Streatham and Clapham High School and whose design was shortlisted from 240,000 entries nationwide.
Elif Kaya has become one of 140 children in the UK to go through to the next stage of the competition.

Both girls have already won £100 in vouchers and £100 for their schools.
The Official Christmas stamps were designed by children only twice before – in 1966 and 1981.
The Prince of Wales will choose two designs from 24 finalists in the national final, with the winners being used on this year’s first and second class Christmas stamps.
