Children were able to visit 17 countries in one day as Walton Oak School held another successful international day.
Children from nursery to year 6 were issued their own passports for this year’s world day on Wednesday, April 2, and took part in activities ranging from flag matching to fact finding, supported by parents of varying nationalities.
Parents, children and staff were also treated to a wide selection of multi-cultural foods from around the globe.
Inclusion leader Sarah McElroy said: “It was an exciting and special day for Walton Oak. We are very grateful to our parents who have worked extremely hard providing both their time and resources to enable the children to learn about different countries and cultures.”
