A shooting is thought to have taken place at a Wandsworth college.
The Wandsworth Guardian was contacted by a reader this afternoon reporting a shooting at South Thames College, in Wandsworth High Street.
A spokeswoman for the college said: “We can confirm that a serious incident took place at the entrance to the college’s Wandsworth campus.
“Emergency services were called immediately by a member of staff and arrived promptly. A college student was treated for minor injuries on site.
“The college is cooperating fully with the police in this matter.”
A spokeswoman for Wandsworth police confirmed “an incident” had taken place but was unable to comment further at this stage.
