Rioting took place across London
A Kingston University student charged with looting £1,000 worth of electronics during riots in Ealing has been remanded in custody.
Pierre Wilkinson was accused of trespassing into Seba Electronics on Monday, August 8, and taking the equipment.
Mr Wilkinson, 20, of Fore Street, Pinner, is studying film studies and television and new broadcasting media at the university.
Camberwell Green Magistrates remanded him in custody on Wednesday, August 10.
He did not enter a plea, and will next appear at the same magistrates’ court for committal to Crown Court on September 7.
Goods worth a total of £200,000 were taken from the store, including TVs, DVD recorders, computers and microwaves.
