PUPILS will be able to develop better computer skills after a high-tech company donated £10,000 towards IT equipment to a school.
John Hampden Grammar School, in Marlow Hill, High Wycombe, will use the money to enhance its computer facilities used by more than 900 boys.
Syan Limited, in High Wycombe, which donated the money, is also supporting John Hampden's bid to become a technology school.
Headteacher Stephen Nokes said: "John Hampden is keen to develop links with local businesses and we hope that the partnership we are establishing with Syan will be of benefit to us all. It is important that students work with the most modern equipment and software but they also need experience of how firms operate."
