Hundreds of people were forced to leave the local election count at Trinity School due to a fire alarm.

The school building in Shirley is being evacuated and the count to determine who will control Croydon Council has been stopped for the time being.

Photo's of decent folk all prevented from casting their votes again eh ? fire-alarms, or not enough people to deal with the electorate... smells a bit fishy.
