A Croydon man has written a book about the postcard propaganda used by the Nazis to win over public opinion during World War II.
James Wilson, a postcard collector from Addiscombe, examines the efforts of the powerful Nazi propoganda machine to promote the technical achievements and the might of the then newly-created German Air Force.
His book, Propaganda Postcards of the Luftwaffe, traces the history of the Luftwaffe and displays Mr Wilson's unrivalled collection.
The book, published by Pen & Sword Military, is available from bookshops priced £19.99 (ISBN 184415 500 5).
