Get in touch: Army friends are trying to get in contact with Ricky Inge, pictured here third on the right
A group of old army friends are hoping that Heritage readers can help them get in contact with a long-lost buddy who they have not heard from since 1966.
Richard Inge from Croydon was born around 1947. He joined the Army Catering Corps on January 6, 1963, at the age of 15.
He served with the other apprentices until 1966 when they got split up and sent to different regiments.
John Rudd (aka Spud) is responsible for finding the lads who served together for a reunion this October.
He said: "We haven't seen him since then. All his old mates are trying to get in touch with him. We have gone through the army records and know he moved to Germany.
"If any of your readers know where he is or know his family, we would be really grateful if they could let us know."
