How you can help our appeal fund

An appeal fund has been set up, making it simple for Guardian readers to make their donations.

NatWest Bank has been kind enough to be the first to make a donation to help James. Any Guardian readers who would like to make a donation should make cheques or postal orders payable to The James Haddad Appeal Fund, and send it: c/o Croydon Guardian, 3rd Floor, 854 Brighton Road, Purley CR0 2UX. (no cash at this stage please).

The family would also like to hear from any individual or local organisation with fund-raising experience that might be able to help.
