A teenager has been arrested for stabbing a 14-year-old boy in a battle between school children at East Croydon station on Tuesday.
The schoolboy was taken by ambulance to Mayday Hospital with a small puncture wound to his right shoulder. He was discharged after being treated.
Witnesses told the Evening Standard that they saw two groups of teenagers arguing outside the station before one of the boys was stabbed.
Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the incident. He has been bailed to return to a south London police station in November.
The incident took place on George Street near the train station at 4.15pm.
