A charity event helped to raise over £12,000 for The Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The charity is the only of its kind that promotes global research into the disease, which there is currently no cure for, with money raised also helping support current sufferers.
Organiser and fundraiser for the night, Magistrate Novello Noades, who is married to former Crystal Palace owner, Ron Noades, said: "Everyone who attended and helped organise Friday’s fundraiser was thrilled at how well the evening went.
"The money we raise is vital in the journey to finding a cure for this horrific disease and I firmly believe that the cure for MND is tantalisingly close. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be part of that?"
The golf day and dinner was accompanied by an auction, with items including boardroom tickets to a West Ham match, and stays in exotic villas.
