A cyclist has been taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries after being involved in a collision with a dustbin lorry.
Police and ambulance were called to Aberdeen Road, South Croydon, at 9.48am this morning.
The man, believed to be in his thirties, was taken to St Georges Hospital by ambulance with head injuries. Air Ambulance also attended the incident.
A police spokesman said Aberdeen Road remains closed at the junction with St Peters Road while officers investigate.
No arrests have been made.
