A star of MTV reality show The Valleys was arrested on suspicion of rape after appearing at a Croydon nightclub.
Leeroy Reed from Bridgend is an aspiring music star and appeared at Shooshh nightclub on New Year's Eve as part of the venue's Geordie Shore Vs The Valleys event.
The 21-year-old was arrested on New Year's Day after police received reports of a rape at a Croydon hotel.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Sapphire team are investigating the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Police were alerted at 9.30am on Tuesday, January 1, to an allegation of rape at a hotel in Croydon earlier that day.
"A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape. He was taken to a south London police station and subsequently bailed to return on a date in late January."
The Valleys started in September 2012 and follows 11 young people as they move to Cardiff from the valleys to start their careers.
