Croydon Youth Theatre receive £3,000 donation

The Last Night of the Croydon Proms was held at Fairfield Halls
Croydon Youth Theatre have received a £3,000 donation raised by an annual concert.
The organisers of The Last Night of the Croydon Proms presented the group with the cheque at their Shoestring Theatre last week.
The money was raised at the annual concert held at Fairfield Halls last September, with the aim of raising money for Croydon youth groups.
David Page of Croydon Youth Theatre said the donation would make it possible to plan more activities for young people.
He said: "CYT has been through difficult times and this donation has lifted our spirits and boosted our energy."
Tickets for this year's concert on September 28 will go on sale soon.
