Secondary school places offered to children in Croydon
10:00am Sunday 3rd March 2013 in Local news
Parents across Croydon discovered which secondary schools their children will be going to in September on Friday.
A total of 3,861 children were offered a place at one of the borough’s 21 secondary schools – which are some of the most oversubscribed in the country.
A council spokesman said: “Parents need to remember to respond to offers by Friday 15 March.
“During April the council will reallocate in waiting list order any unwanted places, and in May we will process late applications that were received after 31 October 2012."
