It has been something of a Winter Wonderland for Rough Copy this week.

The band, fresh from being put through to the final six last weekend, went to Hyde Park this week with Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger to have a wander round the Christmas funfair.

Rough Copy, made up of Sterling Ramsey, Joey Thomas, and Kazeem Ajobe, have won the hearts of the judges and fans around the country during the course of the competition.

Last week the trio sang Viva la Vida by Coldplay in a song that the band admits was out of their comfort zone.

But with the prize now in sight, band member Kazeem said they are as focused as ever on putting on a good performance on Saturday.

The theme for this week is X Factor’s 10th anniversary and Rough Copy are singing En Vogue’s ‘Don’t Let Go’ which was performed by Little Mix two years ago.

Mr Ajobe said: “We have had loads of rehearsals this week and I can’t believe how quick the week has gone.

“It is quite hard to believe we are still here really and it is sometimes difficult to step back and look at what we have achieved so far. It is a real blessing.

“The fact we were not in the competition last year due to hitches but being where we are now, we are in the running for that contract so game on. “ He added: “It was good to do something a bit different last week and show we can have that variety in our performances.

“We were really nervous last week and we got called out that we were through you could see how happy we were as we thought we were going to be near the bottom.

“This week is going to be epic. It is a song we would definitely have on our album. We are really excited. We want to get through this week as we have got something special lined up next.

“The fans have been great and without them we wouldn’t be where we are now and hopefully they can keep on voting for us.”
