A flasher pulled down his pants and fondled himself in front of two young women on a train.

The man left the women disgusted and upset after asking one of them to sit next to him before indecently exposing himself on an early train from London Victoria to East Croydon.

He then left the 5.30am service at Norwood Junction.

Police drove the two women around South Norwood but they could not find him.

British Transport Police this morning released an image of a man wanted in connection with the exposure on Saturday, August 16.

Detective Constable Sarah Garden said: "Two young women boarded at Victoria.

"A man who was already seated asked one of them to come and sit with him.

"As the woman approached the man, she noticed that he had his pants and trousers around his knees and was fondling himself.

"The victim and her friend were understandably upset by this incident and described themselves as disgusted by what they witnessed."
