Profound angry poetry performed by Benjamin Zephaniah kept pupils enchanted when he visited their college.
The dub and performance poet started off the morning at Coulsdon College with a talk to the children about how he became what he is today, including how poetry gave him a voice and helped him overcome struggles.
He then performed the poems Rong Radio and What Stephen Lawrence Taught Us before taking questions from the pupils on November 6.
Zephaniah then stayed on to speak just to the A-Level students about his poems that they are studying.
