A car crash in the early hours of Sunday morning on a quiet suburban street left a trail of destruction and landed two men in hospital.
Residents on Woodplace Lane, Coulsdon were woken at about 6.45am yesterday after a car crashed into a garden wall, flipped and ended up on its roof causing additonal damage to a parked silver camper van.
London Ambulance Service sent two ambulance crews who treated two men, who were then both taken to St George's Hospital, Tooting.
One, aged 21, suffered neck and back injuries while the other, 22, sustained a shoulder injury. Police were also called to the scene and a man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and bailed to return at a later date.
