A man has been arrested on suspicion of intent to endanger life after a house fire in Selhurst.
Police, paramedics and London Fire Brigade were called to the address in Holmesdale Road at about 11.40am yesterday.
The occupant of the house suffered minor burns but was not taken to hospital. The gas supplier was also called to inspect the property.
A 33-year-old man was arrested shortly after on suspicion of criminal damage with intent to endanger life.
He was taken to a south London police station and has since been bailed until May 28.
