Croydon councillor IRA link outed by bluff

The man who exposed Maria Gatland’s terrorist links confessed it was a bluff.

Dr Peter Latham, the researcher for the Save Our Schools campaign, said he divulged ambiguous details as he wanted the council to think “he knew what they knew”.

But he was “gobsmacked and amazed” when it transpired none of the council were aware and Mrs Gatland had tendered her resignation from the cabinet.

He said: “I wanted them to know that we knew because I assumed they knew. I thought we might be able to use it to get some publicity.

“I am glad I did it now. I have no sympathy for her. The future of our children comes first.”

Dr Latham said he was given the document last week at a meeting at Ashburton School but could not confirm the details, which is when he constructed his cryptic question for the council.

I am sure most of us have skeletons in our cupboards. I found my father's one after he died and then my father-in-law's. It made me love them even more, because suddenly - instead of being the ultra-strict people I had known, they were human beings with all their faults, not the perfect people they pretended to be. I believe in understanding people, not condemning them.

We all do Anne, but none of us are the Cabinet Member for Terrorism and we don't take our remuneration from Borough funds.

A saving of at least £35k I suspect

I read somewhere that there are a good number of Labour MP's who were paid up members of the communist party years ago, and now they are behaving like facists!!

Those at either end of the extreme political spectrum resort to the same techniques to control, subjugate and remove.
