A 30-year-old man has been charged with murdering Darren Deslandes during a family party on New Year's Day.
Saturday Lobsang Hassan, of no fixed abode, was also charged with two counts of attempted murder and related firearms offences.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Mr Deslandes, 34, was shot in the head at the Newton Arms pub in Thornton Heath, while his 26-year-old brother Wintworth Junior remains in a critical condition in hospital after receiving a gunshot wound to his body.
Police swooped to arrest Mr Hassan in Sydenham early yesterday morning.
