Croydon basketball coach jailed for abusing girl pupil

A Croydon basketball coach has been jailed for 30 months for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.

Sean Andre Alleyne, a former basketball presenter on Channel Five, pleaded guilty to three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child at an earlier hearing.

He taught basketball at a Croydon school when the incident happened.

He was sentenced to jail at Croydon Crown Court this afternoon.
