This weekend sees the borough host the third annual Croydon Food Festival.

Organiser Croydon Town Centre Business Improvement District (Bid) has revealed an exciting line-up of free demonstrations and events for this year.

The Food Festival main stage, which will be situated in North End this Friday and Saturday, features shows from restaurants such as Wagamama and retailers including House of Fraser and Clas Ohlson, right through to the very best food producers.

On Saturday Surrey Street Market will have a celebration day featuring stalls including locally produced honey, homemade cakes and sauces alongside delicious freshly cooked street food and the exciting demonstration stall.

Bid director Lisa McCance said: “This year’s series of free events and activity is a feast for anyone who loves their food.

“I’m very much looking forward to seeing people come to the town centre to get a taste of just what an eclectic mix of food we have on offer here in Croydon.”
