Aspiring dancers are set to be offered the chance to be taught by a professional performer famous for his appearances on Strictly Come Dancing.
Matthew Cutler, who won the popular BBC show with pop star Alesha Dixon, is opening MATICO dance studio alongside fellow professional dancer and instructor Enrico Stey in Croydon town centre.
The pair, who both teach at the Semley Dance Club in Norbury, home to some of the world's best performers, will both take lessons personally, specialising in Latin and Ballroom, but also offering new dance techniques such as Zumba.
Mr Stey, who is orginally from Germany but moved to Norbury to work at Semley, said: "Norbury is one of the biggest dance capotals in the world - people come from Asia, Australia, all over to work and train here.
"In Croydon itself though there is not much on offer so we thought there was an opportunity to open a new centre to cater for a new audience."
A open evening will be held at the site, on Pitlake, Croydon on February 11.
Dancers of all levels of experience are encouraged to come and enjoy taster sessions with both instructors.
