Trams delayed after derailment at East Croydon

Tram passengers face delays this morning after a tram came off the tracks close to East Croydon station.

No-one was injured in the incident which happened at about 7.30am.

The service has been suspended between East Croydon and Sandilands, but tickets are being accepted on local bus routes.

Wimbledon services start and terminate at Wellesley Road. New Addington and Beckenham Junction services will start and terminate at Sandilands.
