First picture of fatal Croydon pub stabbing victim

This is the first picture of 25-year-old Chris Isted who was named locally as the man stabbed to death outside the Ship pub in the early hours of Saturday.
The popular BMX biker died at the scene after being stabbed at about 2am outside the pub in high Street, Croydon.
Tributes and flowers were left outside the pub to the former Selhurst High School student.
Another man was also stabbed and taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police have launched a murder investigation following the incident, and have been quick to “reassure the public the killing was not gang related”.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
Detectives from the Homicide & Serious Crime Command are investigating and officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident to contact them on 020 8721 4205.
