Police appeal over two car crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a two-car crash saw both drivers taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.
The incident took place around 5.50pm on Monday, April 9, and saw a red Honda Prelude collide with a green Mazda MX5 on Limpsfield Road, Warlingham.
The driver of the Honda, a woman in her 50s, was trapped in her car following the collision and crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene to free her from the vehicle, She was later taken to St Georges Hospital Tooting where she remains in a stable condition.
The driver of the Mazda was also taken to hospital but has been discharged.
Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses of the collision or anyone who witnessed the manner of driver of either vehicle before the incident took place.
Police are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a medium sized MPV style vehicle which the Mazda may have been following prior to the incident.
