Firefighters were called to rescue a dog whose legs were stuck in a drain last night.
The crew from New Addington fire station, were called to Ingham Road, Selsdon, at about 8.30pm.
Using fairy liquid to make the pet's legs slippery, the crew were able to free the nine-month-old puppy within a few minutes.
One firefighter said: "We get quite a few animal rescue calls, this was not my first to a dog stuck somewhere.
"It was a deserving call as the poor dog was properly stuck, she had been there nearly 15 minutes by the time we arrived."
