Tours of one of Britain’s most historically important airports were held to coincide with Open House London.
Croydon Airport opened its doors to show off memorabilia from the time when it was one of the world’s leading airports and its importance during both world wars.
Frank Anderson, head of the Croydon Airport Society conducted tours of the Purley Way site throughout Saturday and Sunday.
