Emergency services called to car and motorcycle collision in Shirley

Emergency services have been called to the scene in Shirley, Croydon
A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries after a collision in Shirley.
Police and London Ambulance were called to the crash between a car and motorcycle on Orchard Avenue at 8am.
A police spokesman said the motorcyclist, a male, was taken by air ambulance to Royal London Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The fire brigade were also called at 8.34am to petrol on the road, the crew cleaned up the spillage before leaving the scene.
The road is currently closed. No other injuries have been reported at this stage. More updates to follow.
