A funeral service has stressed that none of its Croydon staff were involved in any wrongdoing following an undercover TV documentary.
Gillman Funeral Services, based in Tooting, have sacked four of its staff from the Tooting branch and suspended one other following the Exposure documentary aired on ITV last month.
Funeral Partners Ltd (FPL) have apologised unreservedly for the actions of their staff, which included one person not dressing a body in the clothes provided and another making racist remarks.
A spokeswoman said that the internal investigation did not look into anyone from the Norbury branch.
