A Norbury trader caught selling fake designer fashion accessories has been hit with a hefty fine.
Saima Jan, of Temptations in Norbury, was found guilty of selling counterfeit designer bags and jewellery from the shop in London Road.
After pleading guilty, she was fined £1,200 with costs of £1,171 by Croydon magistrates.
Croydon trading standards officers seized a quantity of bags and costume jewellery bearing the registered trade marks of Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chloe.
Officers had visited the shop some months earlier and advised the owner to remove a small quantity of similar goods from sale.
