The following schools have inforrmed the council that they have taken the decision to close today. Parents are being contacted.

Two breastfeeding clinics in Croydon are closed today: Baby Café at Kensington Avenue Children's Centre in Thornton Heath and New Addington Breastfeeding Peer Support at Fairchildes Children's Centre.

They have a disabled teenage daughter and a grown-up disabled son, who are both wheelchair users.
They said: "Our daughter helped us to make the snowmen in our garden, snowmen with a difference because one of them is in a wheelchair too!"
"We have never seen a snowman like this before. Our family and friends loved them! And I love the way they appear to be posing for the camera!"

Epsom and St Helier Hospital trust tweeted today: "Despite the snow and icy conditions, we expect all of our services to run as normal today.
