Snow returns to Kingston

Snow has returned to Kingston this evening - with more expected at the weekend.
The borough has been bracing itself for the return of the big freeze, with forecasters predicting the white stuff to fall as early as Saturday.
However, weather watchers were surprised to see it arrive at about 5.10pm today.
Heavy snow is predicted for the borough and across London on Saturday, threatening more chaos on road and rail.
A severe weather warning was in place today covering the whole of the UK. The worst affected areas could see up to eight inches of snow on Saturday, with up to four inches falling on low ground.
In Kingston, temperatures could reach as low as -6C this weekend.
