WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION
CROYDON COUNCIL THE CROYDON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION)(AMENDMENT NO.5) ORDER 2008. THE CROYDON (GOOD VEHICLES)(FREE PARKING PLACES)(NO.1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2002 (AMMENDMENT NO.3) TRAFFIC ORDER 2008 THE CROYDON (FREE PARKING PLACES)(LIMITED TIMES)(NO.1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2008.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on the 6 May 2008 made the above mentioned Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce waiting restrictions:-
(i) "at any time" throughout the week in lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(ii) between 7.00am and 7.00pm on Monday to Sunday inclusive in a length of Kingswood Avenue specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice;
(b) introduce waiting restrictions between 7.00am and 7.00pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive in lengths of Stanford Road specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice;
(c) introduce loading restrictions between 7.00am and 7.00pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive in lengths of Stanford Road specified in Schedule 4 to this Notice;
(d) to designate a loading bay in Stanford Road, outside Nos.4 and 6 Stanford Road which would operate between 7am and 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive and to restrict to 30 minutes any one period of waiting in the parking place and to prohibit the return to the same parking place of the same vehicle for a period of one hour;
(e) to designate 2 free limited time parking bays in Stanford Road, outside Nos.6 and 8 Stanford Road to provide that the parking bays would be in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm Monday to Saturday inclusive and to restrict to 1 hour any one period of waiting in the parking place and to prohibit the return to the same parking place of the same vehicle for a period of two hours; footway parking opposite this location is 4 wheels up on footway;
(f) to designate 4 free limited time parking bays in Coulsdon Road, outside Nos.225 to 231 Coulsdon Road to provide that the parking bays would be in operation between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Saturday inclusive and to restrict to 30 minutes any one period of waiting in the parking place and to prohibit the return to the same parking place of the same vehicle for a period of one hour. These bays would provide parking 2 wheels up on footway.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 19 May 2008, (and of any Orders which have previously amended those Orders) can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at the Enquiry Counter, "One Stop" Facility, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.
4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Parking Services, Environment, Culture and Public Protection Department, 9th Floor, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, CR9 1EN.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
