TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS
CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4(7) OF SCHEDULE 5 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
HAYES LANE, KENLEY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate renewal of gas mains they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Hayes Lane, Kenley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Hayes Lane, between its junctions with Abbots Lane and Park Road.
3. Whilst the said works are taking place the alternative routes for traffic diverted by the closure will be available via Park Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 2 June 2008 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
(Pedestrian access will be maintained and vehicular access will be maintained where possible.)
