Tram suspended after accident

A road accident has forced the Tramlink service to be suspended between New Addington and Addington village.

A TfL spokesman confirmed a van collided with a tram at New Addington roundabout.

The service was suspended between 4.20pm and 5.30pm but has since resumed with minor delays.

Tramlink are reviewing CCTV on board the Tram as part of the investigation.

It is understood the van driver and two passengers were injured but no one was taken to hospital.
