There was to be no continuation of the FA Vase fairy tale for Croydon and Colliers Wood United after both crashed out at the third round stage.
Although both teams had home advantage, neither could overcome their opponents to reach the last 32.
Croydon, of the Combined Counties Premier Division were up against divisional rivals Hanworth Villa, and crashed out 2-0 - a come down after their 9-2 win in the previous round.
Meanwhile, goals from Chris Gregson and Michael Mathurin were not enough for Colliers Wood United as they went down 3-2 at home to Ascot United of the Hellenic League.
