Team Bath Athletics Club veteran David Coales led home a field of more than 700 athletes at the Bushy Park parkrun on Saturday morning.
 

The 42-year-old clocked 17 minutes, one second to finish ahead of second placed Roy Maddams (17:45) and Clayton Payne (17:49) in third.
St Mary’s Richmond AC’s Kate Brown (17:56) was the first woman home in fourth.
 

In the New Year’s Day race, Hercules Wimbledon’s Kieran White triumphed in 16:16, with Stragglers Running Club’s Justin West finishing 30 seconds behind in second.
 

Stragglers runner Jim Desmond won  Saturday’s Kingston parkrun, coming home in 19:09, while Kingston AC & Polytechnic Harriers star Harry Reynolds was third in 19.48.
 

Another Harriers runner, Phoebe Law, finished the race as the first female after an explosive run saw her clock a new PB of 19.48 to finish in fourth place overall.
 

On Tuesday, Anthony Jackson set the pace in Kingston and clocked 16:50 to win ahead of West (17:10) in second and Danny Norman (17:21) in third.
 

* Walton Athletics Club, Elmbridge Runners, Stragglers Running Club and Kingston AC & Polytechnic Harriers will be hoping for strong performances at the Surrey Cross Country Championships at Lloyd Park in Croydon on Saturday, January 5.
