Richmond mixed martial artist Brad Pickett felt short changed after his Ultimate Fighting Championship 155 defeat in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The 34-year-old lost to America’s Eddie Wineland on a split points decision to end what had been a good year for the former semi-professional footballer.
“When I heard a split decision being called I thought I might have a chance to win, but I don’t think judges score aggression as much as they do other aspects,” he said.
“If I bring the fight to someone the whole time and they’re running, I feel that people who fight that style should be rewarded for it.”
