Sutton & Epsom have been knocked off the top of London Division Two South West after a 14-3 defeat at Tottonians.

The new leaders, Chobham, top the table on points difference after a thumping 55-0 win over struggling KCS Old Boys.

Sutton and Chobham, who are unbeaten in eight, go head to head at Cuddington Court this weekend.

Sutton started well at Tottonians with good pressure, but after 20 minutes a Sutton attack broke down and the ball was overturned by Tottonians.

This allowed Tottonians to quickly break down field into the Sutton half and after some excellent passing and off-loading, they scored in the left-hand corner - the conversion was missed.

Tottonians added to the scoring in the first half by taking further points through two penalties making it 11-0 at the break.

The second half continued in the same vein, with both sides playing good rugby – but the only points were an exchange of penalties, with Frankie Murray converting for Sutton.

This weekend top of the table clash kicks off at 2pm.
